| الملخص: | The main focus of this study is to examine the methodology of Muhammad Hasbi Ash Shiddiqie and his thoughts in his book entitled Pedoman Shalat dan Pedoman Dzikir dan Do'a in dealing with legislative texts of Ahadith on shalat, dzikr and do'a' by relying on library research and analytical methods. The present study shows that his methods in dealing with legislative texts of ahadith are sometimes in contrast with the majority of the Muslim scholars. For example, he stated that “jum'at prayer is an independent prayer, it is not the replacement of zuhr prayer. In addition, he also stated that both 'Eid's prayers are the greatest symbol of Islamic obligation. It is obligated on every single Muslim either they are men, women and those who are healthy or sick. On the other hand, some of Muhammad Hasbi Ash Shiddiqie methods have been approved by the majority of scholars. This can be seen in the issues of dzikr and do'a'. He stated that “it is an encouragement in Islam and this is what the majority of Muslim scholars said. So the real true dzikr and do'a' which have to be carried out by every Muslim are the ones mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. There is no way for the human intellectual to alter and to add any sentences to the existing dzikr and do'a'. |
