| 總結: | This study aims to analyze the foundational idea of Imam Shafi'i on the denotation of context (dilalat as-siyaq) through his book al-Risalah, explaining its concept, contents, and position through Shari'ah evidence. In addition, the research attempts to formulate the standard designed by Imam Shafi'i in subtracting Shari'ah rulings from the Shari'ah texts and to find out its impact. Moreover, it tries to explain the development of this idea among usuli scholars and discuss some scholarly issues related to this topic. The study used inductive, descriptive and analytical methodologies to outline Imam Shafi'i's views related to the topic, analyze them based on usuli viewpoint, and compare them with other usuli scholars' views. The study has reached a number of findings, some of them are: the topic of context is not a new topic in the science of Usul al-Fiqh but it was discussed a long time ago within the topics mentioned by Shafi'i in his book al-Risalah, the first book written in Usul al-Fiqh. Moreover, Shafi'i's concept of context had included the pillar concepts of context in contemporary discourse that consist of verbal and situational contexts. Also, it is clear that the context has a significant impact on interpreting Shari'ah texts, especially in the specification of the general meaning, the clarification of the unclear meaning, and designation of the possible meaning of that texts, together with the identification of the causes and objectives of Shari'ah. |
