Summary:Despite the widespread use of contracts known in Islamic economy and the diversity of banking operations and investments, however there is still a gap in the application of some Islamic financial institutions such as Ja'iz bank in its application of Mudharabah and Murabaha contracts as modes of investment. This study discusses the application of the two contracts as modes of investment in Ja'iz bank. The research stars with an introduction, where the researcher briefly discusses the history of Nigeria's banking system and the concept of the contract as well as investment. After that, the research discusses the theory of the Mudharabah contract and its application in both with the contract of investment. where the researcher states the views of classical scholars and contemporary researchers regarding the subject. Besides this, the research provides clear information on the theory of The Murabaha contract and its application in the contract. of investments' where the researcher states the views of classical scholars and contemporary researchers to., Moreover, the study discusses the applications of Mudharabah and Murabaha contracts as modes of investment in Ja'iz bank, where the researcher mentiones its concept, fields and its importance from the Islamic economic perspective. In addition, the study adopts three methods: The theoretical approach which is for compiling small studies and researches related to the subject of investment through application of Mudharabah and Murabaha contracts, the other method is applied approach, where the researcher visited the Ja'iz bank head office in Nigeria for conducting interviews in order to find out the extent of knowledge in applying contracts of Mudharabah and Murabaha as a mode of investment in Ja'iz bank according to the rules of Islamic economy, the last method is analytical criticism which is for analyzing investment through the contracts of Mudharabah and Murabaha according to authentic evidence in Islamic economic perspective.
