| 520 | |u The purpose of this study is to compile the marasil (al-hadith transmitted without the mention of Prophet Muhammad's Companions) in the chapters on nikah and talaq that are recorded in musannaf of Imam Abdul Razak Sanaani. The musannafare assessed based on their ascription (chain of narrators) and text (matn). Firstly, this study looks at the condition of their narrators and later evaluates their shawahid to determine their statusi.ewhetherthey can be to the level of Hasan li Ghayihi. This study also includes a placed biography of Imam Abdul RazakSanaani covering his lineage, teachers, students and his intellectual status in Islamic intellectual discourse and the issues of al-Hadith al-Morsal. There were two methods used by the researcher in order to pursue this study: descriptive inductive method whichwas applied in order to analyse information in connection to Imam Abdul Razak and issues of al-Hadith al-Morsal.
