Summary: | This research addresses the relationship between creative vision and Islamic vision of Arabic novel art in portraying angels. Since this study is influenced by ancient legacies of art story in Arabic creative Western doctrines and intellectual Islamic vision, the first two chapters discuss the descriptive nature of the novel. However, the following two chapters which depend on critical analysis track the presence of angels in stories and various forms of multiple purposes which appear in contemporary Arabic novel art. This study has identified specific and diverse contemporary novels related to angels: the story of Youssef Alsubai Vice Azrael, the Angel of Death's resignation for the novel as purely joiner, werotih ouled haretna Naguib Mahfouz, and the univeres in the eyes of the novels angels of Mahmoud said. This research also examines the characters and their roles disaggregating them into social events. The positions of modern writers and critics are analysed, finding adverse reactions in the consensus of writers and critics of Islamic literature, when they called for a return to the sources of Islamic faith and Islamic versions or standards. In order to come up with the perfect frames for the angels mentioned in contemporary Arabic novels, combining creativity and commitment is necessary, far from any dogmatic or moral deviations. Therefore, this study seeks to highlight the Islamic version within contemporary novel art so that it can play its role in society as we reveal the novels unusual vision to some writers and modern critics influenced by Western ideas. |
