Description
Summary:Teaching Arabic writing skill or Insyak is the most important lessons in Arabic Language subject for fourth grade secondary student because this study is required in the syllabus and will be tested in the examination for Malaysian Educational Certificate. This study aimed to analyze the impact of two recommendation methods by Steve Graham in developing the writing skill in Arabic for fourth grade secondary students. This study used the quasi-experimental design. There were a total of 46 samples in this study who are divided into control and treatment groups. The instrument of this study is pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the study indicate that there is a statistically significant difference in the result of the pre-test and post-test between the control group and the treatment group. The study found that the students in the treatment group had a higher and better outcome than the result for students in the control group. This finding indicates that the proposed methods are effective in developing students' writing skills in Arabic.
