| 总结: | This research aims at studying the pre-positioning and post-positioning of syntax and rhetoric in Surah Al-Kahf. 96 out of 110 its verses contain these two structures of pre- and post-positioning which is equivalent to 84%. This surah is one of the unique surahs in the Qur'an as it has four stories: the story of Ashabul Kahf, the story of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) with a pious man named Khidir, the story of a man with his two gardens and last but not least the story of Zul Qarnain. This surah also mentions about its superiority in several Hadith. This study intends to reveal its beauty rhetorically and syntactically as it would help people to understand the Qur'an, and ponder on its verses. The findings are as follows: the pre-positioning of object (khabar) before the subject (mubtada'), the pre-positioning of a set of questioning (istifham) and the pre-positioning al-Jar wal Majrur before the subject (maf'ul). The objectives of the pre-positioning in this surah are customization, attention, admonition, denial, reprimand, exclamation, sarcasm and threat. On top of that, there are several findings regarding these two structures as they basically lie under preference or choice of using pre- and post-positioning in the surah. The objectives are to focus on the attention to the listener, the ascending order in number and the threat. |
