Description
Summary:The aim of this research is to clearly examine Al-Amidi's perspective on knowledge, analysis and criticism, as well to indicate his position on the direction of knowledge and consideration of science of theology. Additionally, this research observes and studies the intellectual changes of Al-Amidi from his distinct intellectual circle, methods and characteristics to other ideas that contradict him in terms of methodology and characteristics. In order to achieve these objectives, the researcher used the inductive and analytical methods by tracking and extrapolating the views of Al-Amidi regarding knowledge and consideration. During his research, the researcher collected the ideas of Al-Amidi and his views from his book Abkar Al-afkar fi Usoul Aldin, its analysis and methodology, in the way of collecting scientific material in the field of faith, and in reference to the books that were written about the views of scholars of theology and philosophers. Through the analytical approach, the researcher studied and analyzed the Al-Amidi's views, compared the ideas of the speakers and the philosophers and developed the most important views on knowledge and consideration into account the extreme views of the position and investing in correcting the concepts. Finally, the researcher concludes that Al-Amidi is a unique poet in his age. None of his contemporaries reached the level of the science of speech and philosophy as reached by Al-Amidi. Al-Amidi had contributed greatly to the development of speech, and gave it true significance in human life, and this effort occupied a large area of interest in the study of the Islamic faith. Al-Amidi, who saw the need to examine man, and that there is a protest that as long as the knowledge of God and the universe is considered necessary and not done out of duty. Al-Amidi went on to say that the event, revelation and inspiration play an important role as means of knowledge as well as the senses through which knowledge is acquired.
