الملخص:This study examines the death penalty in Saudi Arabia and its response to the international demands for its abolishment. The study extrapolates on the concept of the death penalty as set out in the Saudi Arabia judiciary. The Saudi government has always maintained that the death penalty is integral to the preservation of its social cohesion just like in any other independent nations and its rejection of foreign influences such as the United Nations and the General Assembly. The study uses comparative approach and analytical descriptive methods in defense of the death penalty in the Kingdom. As well as Saudi Arabia's right as an independent nation to implement its own legal framework in ensuring the right of the accused to a fair and just trial. As far as the country is concerned, calls for the abolishment of the death penalty tantamount to foreign interference in its domestic affairs and social order.
