Summary: | This study looks into the phenomenon leads to the absence of the concept of Al-'Adl from present politics of the Muslim nation, and looks into the concept of Shura and its contemporary applications in Islamic politics. This is to ensure the presence of the purpose of Shariah on Al-'Adl, and consider it in the distribution of power and wealth. The study also sheds light on present situation of the politics of the Muslim nation, and the reasons lead to this present situation that can be best described as "bitterness", which resulted in the revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria. The fundamentals of Islamic politics, characteristics that distinguished it from from other political systems explained as well. The study also unveils the concept of Al-'Adl, through its definition, its importance, and its relationship to the democratic Shura. The study also deals with how to apply justice (Al-'Adl) in the distribution of wealth to the nation as a manifestation of the achievement of the purpose of justice (Al-'Adl), and avoid future revolutions, which will contribute to the unity, social harmony, and political stability in the Muslim nation. Wealth in this context implies natural ones and modern projects in the state, such as mineral resources and raw materials, that are considered as the nation's property, for which the state is only responsible for its management and investment. This study adopts the inductive method to collect relevant information, and reliable facts. It also adopts analytical method analysis and give appropriate interpretation to the collected information and facts. Comparative methods are adopted as well in comparing between Shura and democracy. The study derives that one of the main causes of the political disarray in the Muslim nation is the lack of respect for justice (Al-'Adl), and that no society can achieve a coherent political system without taking it Al-'Adl into consideration, and that democracy in the present is the closest to the concept of Islamic Shura in terms of application of justice. The study also presents some recommendations that will provide some solutions to the present political disarray, and reduce the occurrence of revolutions in the future. |
