520 |a This research investigates the strategies of the Arabic Language Teachers to enhance the students' motivation in mastering the speaking skill, and the views and responses of the students towards the strategies. In addition, this research aims to find out about the relationship between the strategies and the students view in mastering the Arabic Language in speaking skill. This research is a qualitative study where interviews were conducted among 3 Arabic Language teachers and 6 pre-university students of Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah. After analysing the data, the results have shown that the teachers used motivational strategies such as, the importance of ensuring a pleasant and exiting classroom environment to speak in Arabic Language by using activities, prioritizing the importance of communication skill rather than focussing on the grammatical mistakes. Apart from that, the teachers care about the students' performance in speaking Arabic by letting the students dictate their objectives in speaking Arabic Language. On the other hand, the views of the students are positive regarding the strategies in enhancing their motivations to speak Arabic. Finally, the researcher has found that there is a strong relationship between the teachers' strategies and the students' views towards them on top of suggestions from students in creating a good relationship between students and the teachers through outdoor activities like camping, diversifying the learning activities with regard to the speaking skill, creating and designing a specific syllabus for speaking skill and creating the self-evaluating system for the students during learning activities.
