| الملخص: | This study examines the customary practices of inheritance for women in Algeria and its relationship with the Algerian Family and Personal Status Law. The study compares the sharia viewpoint with that of the state law pertaining to women and inheritance. The comparison is made through the double methodology of analysis and induction by taking into account views and opinions of jurists on Algerian Laws and Shariah pertaining to women and inheritance. The study hopes to bring to light a more current understanding on an issue which has dogged Algerian society until today. |
