Summary:This research aims at showing the important aspects pertaining to the marital cohabitation and marital disputes. This research looks into the causes of marital disputes and the nature of marital life in Islam as well as in other currents and contemporary variables that could lead to marital disputes. The main objective of this research is to examine features of handling marital disputes with evidences from the Prophet's examples that are enhanced by the Holy Qur'an. The research adopts the inductive method and the analytical approach to trace and extrapolate texts and other sources, classic and contemporary, as well as the reality of contemporary marital life. The research is going to deal with several aspects which are: Islamic approaches in solving marital disputes, Islamic criterions in solving marital disputes and working templates in solving marital disputes from the life of the Prophet (S.A.W) and his wives and mothers of the Companions. Jurisprudential rulings will be referred to in order to draw a satisfying conclusion relating to marital disputes in the spirit of Rabbani al alamin.
