Summary: | Lecturers' attitude is one of the main factors that contribute to the use of educational technology, especially gamified online learning. This study explores lecturers' attitude towards gamified online learning and its utilization in their teaching. In addition to examining the relationship between their attitude and utilization, the study also considers if there is any significant difference in the attitude and utilization in terms of gender, age, and the Kulliyyah the lecturers are attached with. Data were collected from 280 lecturers of International Islamic University Malaysia through a survey questionnaire. The study found that the attitude of lecturers is positive towards gamified online learning. However, it was discovered that the extent of utilization of gamified online learning among lecturers is low and at an unsatisfactory level. The findings also suggest that the relationship of lecturers' attitude and utilization of gamified online learning is positively correlated. Independent t-test and one-way analysis of variance were performed, and the results revealed that there is no significant difference in lecturers' attitude and their utilization of gamified online learning in terms of gender, age, and Kulliyyah they are attached with. |
