Summary: | There are three most prevalent working generations that make up the labor force in today workplace, they are Baby Boomer Generation, Generation X, and Generation Y. Baby Boomer, being the oldest generation, is now at the doorstep of retirement. As more Baby Boomers are leaving, there are more Generation Ys enter the workforce. According to Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Generation Y will make up approximately 75% of the global workforce by 2025. Hence, the ability to recruit and retain younger workers is quickly becoming essential for employers to ensure long term success.
