Summary:The rationale of this study is to emphasise on potential factors which could influence the perceived success of Malaysian women entrepreneurs in Malaysia. The literature is aimed to study the influence of personality traits on entrepreneurial success. According to prior studies, the most mentioned personality traits for entrepreneurs are need for achievement, internal locus of control, risk taking propensity, need for autonomy, self-confidence, innovativeness and tolerance for ambiguity. Hence, this study is purposive in determining the relationship of each of these factors with the perceived success of Malaysian women entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
