Summary:The Internet does not only bring advantages to its users, but also threats. Cyber crime is an inevitable phenomenon in today's rapid changes of network growth. One of the categories of cyber crime is intellectual property (IP). Digital materials such as software, music and movies were being copied and transmitted through many locations all over the world simultaneously and easily. All the effort done by the inventor or the right owner of the properties had not been appreciated. Thus, these activities would lead to the drawback of the certain industry that involved. The primary sources of this research were the questionnaire and from the interview session. While the secondary sources was the information that was obtained from the Internet, newspaper and related books. First, the pilot testing was held to produce the suitable question for the questionnaire. There liability of the questionnaire was tested.
