| Summary: | Evolution of mobile phone seen a lot of new functions and feature have been implemented into mobile phone. Taking and sharing picture is one of them. Taking and sharing picture is third most used feature in mobile phone. However, the current design of mobile photo gallery that been using in picture taking and sharing do not meet the requirement or not suitable to all category of users especially elderly people. This thesis focuses on the elderly people user that involve along the design process by giving the requirements and evaluating the product to ensure the design meet the needs and expectations. Suitable mobile photo gallery interface design for elderly people is produced. In this research, researcher evaluates an existing mobile photo gallery by testing the interface to the elderly people using Qualitative Research Approach. This research produces an appropriate mobile photo gallery interface prototype for elderly people based on user requirement and evaluation for better understanding of the elderly people. For future improvement, this research prototype can help the developer to understand and concern the needs of special community of elderly people in developing the mobile photo gallery system. |
