Summary:This thesis illustrates the design of switching mode power supply, which used flyback converter topology. The step-by-step design procedure that involved many equations and components has been implemented in this design. This thesis also gives the detailed explanation about the each topology of SMPS. The purposes of all components used have been explained in this report. Pspice is used to validate the theory. Result for steady state as well as dynamic conditions given, shows the flexibility and capability of the design.
