This seems to demonstrate how the performance of the firms will influence to the dividend payment. The method used in this research is pooled regression analysis. The point of view intended to help the firms to look after their performance that related to the matter. The idea is to show what is the best variables that can be used to measure the dividend payout ratio (DPR). The result of this research shows that earnings per share have positive relationship with the dividend payout ratio. As expected, the result also indicates a significantly positive relationship between return on asset and dividend payout ratio.
