Besides, this research also identify whether students ' achievement are influenced by their interest in mathematics. Research respondents are $6 students from 4 different class of year 4 at SK Matu Baru, Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak. Samples are chosen according to Krejcie and Morgan table. This research used questionnaire that contains 28 items. For significant test, author use Descriptive Statistic and Descriptive T-test examination with SPSS software version 21.0.The results shows that interest in mathematic does not have significant relationship meanwhile parents influence have significant relationship in students interest in mathematics. The results also shows that interest in mathematic does not influence students achievement. As conclusion, the results prove that parents role and concerns are important in improving students interest in mathematic. So, knowing the parents role in improving students’ interest are important and need to be stress.
