Description
Summary:Recently, MDF is being as a primary composite panel products used in furniture, construction, and other purposes. Besides, MDF has varied special properties rather than other composite panel products. The suitability and effectiveness of MDF as a major raw material and the installation of selected hardware for Mini Pantry Cupboard were justified. One piece MDF board (1219.20 mm x 2438.40 mm x 18 mm) was used to make the components of this product. From observation during product development process, the defect split was found occurred which effects on MDF board especially at the distance near the edge. Screwing further than 25 mm from edge might split the MDF board. However, the performance of other hardware installed for this project was no significant to MDF board.
