The purpose of this study is to innovate a product that can fulfil its main purpose with additional features and conduct an assessment of the needs of space -saving products among the general public. Data was collected in several stages, namely studying the role of furniture according to the passage of time, collecting information about furniture in Malay homes by making a literature review such as journals, books or websites, and collecting surveys in the form of questionnaires. The questionnaire contained data on respondents ’background, type of residence, opinions on design, price, market, and satisfaction with the product.
