Description
Summary:The growing human population increases the demand for economical and low-cost houses. Currently, apartments and small buildings are the most common residences in the modern community. In order to overcome the problem of minimal living space in a small house or flat, a small and easy side table was designed. The purpose of this project is to construct an actual product based on a geometrical concept of a side table, as well as to analyse survey responses from respondents on product attributes. The data that has collected was based on a variety of questionnaires that were given to 208 respondents from various categories of gender, age, occupation, and income. The evaluation was based on raw material, design, marketing and customer satisfaction. The data were evaluated using analyses of reliability analysis, demographics analysis, descriptive analysis, comparative analysis and correlation analysis. With a mean score of 4.79, the majority of respondents were even more interested with the product's raw material and design than the other two factors. In conclusion, the tri-side table for small living space has the potential to be approved by respondents and commercialised in the future. To increase user approval, it is necessary to enhance the product's design and raw materials.
