| 總結: | Many side tables exist in this world. Most homes have at least one side table in their home and have been considered must-have furniture. Most people nowadays looked up to the simple, unique, and aesthetic design of the side tables. This study aims to create a new design of a side table with rattan weaving using a combination of rattan and rubberwood. Therefore, a questionnaire was distributed via Google form to get the response towards the proposed new look of side table among 150 potential customers. Descriptive analysis result reveals that design becomes the most important factor in producing the side table with rattan weaving. While, correlation analysis results indicate that there exists a significant positive relationship between knowledge, material and design, with potential customers satisfaction towards a product. On average, the respondents also agreed that the product is suitable to be commercialized in the furniture industry. Therefore, it is hoped that the proposed product will be marketed as other marketable furniture. |
