Development of biological aerated filter using selected geological materials for effective wastewater treatment
Biological filters (biofilters) are an attractive and robust fixed bed process to treat domestic wastewater in urban areas where the cost and availablity of land are becoming a limiting factor, and "footprint size" is increasingly becoming important in the choice of treatment system.
