In addition to the primary influences of capital accumulation and skill embodied in the human capital, the results also confirm the importance of the macroeconomic environment, trade openness and well developed financial markets. Inflation seems to be an important key in policy implementation. Interestingly government consumption seems to have positive impact on growth for certain ASEAN countries instead of positive like most well develop countries.
