Summary: | Airports prioritize development, efficiency, safety, and security to deliver reliable services.
However, a crucial gap exists—a dedicated cybersecurity maturity framework (CSMF) for
local international airports is absent. This study develops a comprehensive CSMF,
leveraging the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) to explore the interplay of technological,
human, and process factors. The focus is on achieving cybersecurity maturity through a
methodical approach. The NIST Cybersecurity Framework underpins the CSMF, aligning
with airport needs for effective cybersecurity. This structured framework not only identifies
attributes but guides airports to realize benefits from resilient cybersecurity. This study
contributes to the airport's cybersecurity evolution, employing FDM involving respondents
from industry cybersecurity experts and airport officials to fortify security measures for
international airports in Malaysia. The outcome enhances safety and resilience against
cybersecurity threats. |
