| Summary: | This research aims to study the contemporary summaries of ibn khathir interpretations and explains its benefits and to explain the focus of its promoters as well as showing the methodology adopted. This study used indecisive method, comparative and analytical approach. The outcomes of this study show many important features, which are simplifying the Ibn Khathir’s interpretation of the Quran to be understood by people. This is because it implores the translation of the Quran with Quran. Also it implores the use of authentic Hadiths and the solution of chain of narration as well as exploring difficult words and many other important relevant steps. The study has addressed the right and short of narrator’s hadiths which aims to the same meaning, and shorten the isnaads, and to show the most important meanings of exotic words. These shorten tafsirs as research has showed the through excluding the Israeli stories or mentioned some of them with specific prohibition, the researcher also mentioned the verbal and linguistic research, and showing readings and doctrinal issue distinctively. The researcher suggested that the shorten tafsir are not without flaws such as the weak Hadiths and the sources of the hadith is not to be traced in its isnaad. It turns out that Umdat Al Tafsir is the oldest shorten explanations, published in 1956م, followed by the Al Musbah Al Muneer For Safe Al Rahman Mubarakfuri in the year 1423ه, then the interpretation of Ibn Kathir prepare and arrange in the year م2008. ه1429 then the brief of explanation of Ibn Kathir written by Mohammed Ali al-Sabuni in م1981. ه1429, the researcher has showed their own approaches, and comparison between them through extrapolation, description and analysis, and to identify the approaches of the contemporary explained by their shorten Tafsir books. Furthermore, the reasons for their choice for this thein Qeran out of many the other, the results found that the best shorten Tafsirs in terms of scientific abundance and benefits listed in the footnotes in Umdat Al Tafsir for Hafiz Ibn Kathir, by Ahmed Shaker, then Tafsirs Ibn Kathir discipline and order by Salah al-Khalidi, followed by brief explanation of Ibn Kathir by Muhammad Al Sabuni. |
