Summary: | The focus of the study is the evaluation of professional performance of Islamic satellite television channels in Palestine. The study also measures the commitment of Islamic television channels to the Theory of Moral Responsibility and Islamic media Theory. The study also accesses the managerial proficiency of Islamic television channels to plan and manage the process of broadcasting. The problem statement of the study is identified by specifying the daily coverage of Islamic television channels and the extent of which this broadcasting is in line with Islamic vision. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population of the study is media professionals in Palestine to access the professional performance to the three Islamic Palestinian television channels: al-Quds, al-Aqsa and Philistine al-Yaum. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the analytical method that is based on analyzing a case study both qualitatively and quantitatively. The researcher also used interview, books and journals that are related to the study. The recommendation is a content analysis of Islamic Palestinian television channels. The content analysis study of Islamic television channels may be conducted in any Arab or Islamic country that can be applied to the media professionals in the country chosen. The contribution of the study is new model that identify the foundations of Islamic broadcasting in Palestine which focuses on managerial proficiency, Professional commitment, Islamic political orientation, ownership and Islamic finance and Shari’ah commitment. |
