Summary:Islam which means well-being is a religion that teaches peace and promotes harmony. Establishing good relations and harmony is more necessary when the Muslim is a minority in society and needs to interact with non-Muslims every day. Good relations with non-Muslims can showcase the beauty and purity of Islamic teaching, as well as being an example for the personality of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him. Good fellowship is not only focused on non-Muslim individuals but it also includes respecting their beliefs and places of worship. However, this does not mean the harmonious relationship and respect given by the Muslim community to the houses of worship of other religions, is open and free without any restrictions. Therefore, this study was conducted to observe the limitation on the relationship between Muslim and house of worship of non-Muslim, as well as their involvement in the activities of these house. The specialty of this research lies in the explanation of the Islamic jurisprudence related to a Muslim's relationship with palace of worship of other religion, especially today, where there are significance development in inter-racial and inter-religion relation. It is hope that this research can clarified the differences and guide the Muslim community in their interaction with other houses of worship. A descriptive and inductive approach has been adopted in the methodology of this study to gather the opinions of the jurists, their propositions and arguments. The researcher then use an analytical and critical approach to discuss the views of the scholars to find explanations and opinions that can contribute to harmonious relations between the races without neglecting the principles of religion that cannot be tolerated. In addition to obtaining information from the library, the researcher also analysed and observed the activities carried out by non-Muslim houses of worship and how it is handled. This study has produced some important findings, among them are: peace can be include among the necessities which Islam came to protect for the human beings and the blessings brought by the teachings of Islam cover all beings on this earth. The study also found that Muslims are prohibited from helping to enliven the houses of worship of other religions in any way unless it can tarnish the image of Muslims. This study has also produced some limitations in interacting with other religious houses of worship and activities that take place in it such as limitation restrictions, entering and working in non-Muslim houses of worship, attending wedding ceremonies and death of non-Muslim which is held in it and other programmes.
