The 4 (four) different categories of characteristics are customer orientation, capacity, expertise, and management style. While, the performance measures include effectiveness and profitability. This study too examines the influence of perceived environmental uncertainty as moderating variables. The variables are divided into 5 (five) dimensions, namely, suppliers performance, competitors' actions, customers' demand, financial/capital market, and government regulations. The research findings show that there is a relationship between characteristics and performance measures of the property development in Penang with the influence of the perceived environmental uncertainty.
