Computer science Cognitive Radio Network as an emerging technology in the area of communication mainly seek improvement of network quality of services by providing capabilities that did not exist in earlier designs of computer communication.. CR networks, with the capability of using AI techniques, will provide an ultimate environment aware communication paradigm in network communications. In multi network available environments, it is {X)ssible to select network based on many attributes they promote. In order to have efficient communication, there should be ability of reflect users and different applications requirements from their networking, so that user engage itself in the process of selection of the network. Since user do not have enough information about technical consideration of network connection and also in order to deal with the concept of uncertainty, fuzzy logic scheme is a solut ion, which would let users reflect their expectations in terms of fuzzy rules and, in tum use that rules as a tool for multi objective decision support in the process of network selection. In this project new method called CR-FENS is proposed, that aims to best reflect the requirements of user in the process of network selection. At the same time algorithm let user nodes exchange their state information about available networks in the environment, helping new nodes to better decide with having more set of information available. This approach is evaluated and compared with an existing fuzzy network selection algorithm through the simulation and data analysis study. 2010 Thesis http://eprints.utm.my/id/eprint/19158/ http://libraryopac.utm.my/client/en_AU/main/search/results?qu=Application+of+fuzzy+logic+in+cognitive+radio+networks&te= masters Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Faculty of Computer Science and Information System Faculty of Computer Science and Information System
