Summary:Visually impaired students have equal rights in all areas including education sector. For disorders students, it is a right for them to obtain disabled facilities at school providing. This study was carried out to assess whether facilities provided by schools of special education are according to standards as stated in Malaysian Code of Practice; as well as to identify students' level of satisfaction with the provided disabled facilities.The data collection method used for this study is the observation and the distribution of questionnaires. The respondents were composed of visually impaired students in three special schools, namely Sekolah Rendah Pendidikan Khas Penglihatan Jalan Batu, Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Setapak dan Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Vokasional Indahpura. Frequency analysis, Standard Deviation, Average Score Analysis and Analysis of Content were used to analyze the data obtained. The study show that the disabled facilities at the mention school were still in the low level, facilities such as textured surfaces and toilets for the disabled are not provided. Even thought Code of Practice is used as reference to facilitate the disabled, but the preliminary is still below satisfaction. Stakeholders should take this matter seriously in preparing disabled facilities for them.
