The competency was determined through their views using a questionnaire on teaching skills, concern for school, concern for students and concern for self. Thus, developing a comprehensive and practical model of teachers’ competence characteristics. The data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 11.5 software. The result showed that, all teachers are competent teachers. There are significant relationship between teaching competency and gender, specializations, and; academic achievement.
