In local construction practice, the use of Design and Build method is rapidly increasing in both public and private sector. In order to guarantee effectiveness of implementation, there is a need to identify list of factors which can contribute to the success of Design and Build project. This study reviews Design and Build as a project delivery method which includes definitions, types and parties involved.The more importantof this study is identification factors that contribute to project success theoretically and practically which occur in construction industry. The study shows that, there are many critical factors which contribute to the design and build project success . In local construction industry, the most critical factor a Project Team Commitment followed by Contractorâ€™s Competencies, Risk and Liability Assessment, Client's Competencies and lastly Project Characteristic.
