The data from previous experiment which conducted by Chosun (1999) are used in comparing with Prokon Software. Prokon software is used for comparison analysis subjected to these experimental results. Model pile of diameter 0.5m with an embedment ratio, L/D between 1 to 7 and pulling height ratio, e/L ranging from 1 to 7 for each embedment ratio were employed. For embedment ratio, L/D equal to 1, the maximum moment at ground level from the Prokon’s software is bigger than the experimental moment. These differences may cause from the effect of pulling arm in the pile model which result the sand failed earlier. Increasing in embedment ratio will reduce the differences from both results due to the effect of pulling arm is reducing.
