Summary: | A community of practice can be formed from the group which has the similiarities in terms of interest and skills. This can be utilised to share issues, problems, knowledge and experience. The group of Information System Officer in public sector which has the same profesion can be categorised as a community of practice and can exist as a virtual community via the network infrastructure, communication and internet. A good knowledge management will assist the community to communicate, share knowledge, and help each others to solve problems in improving their skills and competencies. The Portal technology is seen as an alternative that can be applied in knowledge management within this community. |
