Summary:This research analysis was led to recognize the attributes and effect of two different generations, mainly X and Y work values, attitude and behaviour and interpersonal skills on the organizational commitment in work force that as of now involve the Malaysian manufacturing industry. As demonstrated by different dependable sources, Generation X and Generation Y employees, who are portrayed as current generation employees, are said to have recognize obligation to remain with a similar organization. High employee turnover rate has become a significant issue that should be tended to. This analysis plans to distinguish the determinants and elements of Generation X and Generation Y employees 'organizational commitment in Malaysian manufacturing industry. In particular, the analysis surveyed the effect of independent factors (Generational cohort, work values, attitude and behaviour and interpersonal skills) on dependent variable (organizational commitment). In this analysis additionally, the relationship of gender and educational level to organizational commitment of Generation X and Generation Y workforce have been inspected.
