The data collected through digital survey questionnaires from 482 respondents using the snow ball convenient method. Self Determination Theory (SDT) is used as the underpinning theory to support this study. Results shown that there was significant positive relationship between transformational leadership, meaningful work and work life balance towards Gen Z’s happiness in the work place while no significant relationship was found for the remaining two independent variables; work autonomy and workplace friendship.
