Summary: | Coronavirus disease 2019, also known as Covid-19 has been recognized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Health care workers infected to the virus also enhanced by insufficient of knowledge and awareness of practices in prevention the transmission source in workplace. The goal of this study is to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitudes towards Covid-19 practices among health care workers in Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail, (HSNI) Batu Pahat. The data was collected using a well-structured questionnaire that including the demographic, knowledge (K), attitudes (A) and practice (P) assessment sections. Findings from this study show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes and practices related to Covid-19 among healthcare workers in Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail, Batu Pahat. In addition, the findings also show that there is a significant difference in knowledge, attitude and practice between age level related to Covid-19 among healthcare workers in this hospital. While for position and work experience there is no change in knowledge, attitude and practice related to Covid-19. In conclusion, the level of knowledge is at a high level, the level of attitude is at a moderate level equal to the level of practice. The study provides a significant contribution to understanding the factors affecting health care workers knowledge, attitude, and practices on Covid-19 and helps describe the variables involved in figuring out how to avoid Covid-19. |
