Description
Summary:This study aims to investigate the role of knowledge and attitudes in hand hygiene practices among health care workers in public health clinics. Factors that are studied are the level of knowledge of health workers in hand hygiene practice as well as the attitude affecting hand hygiene practice. The questions in this survey form consist of 41 items adapted from previous studies. Questionnaires were distributed to 108 healthcare workers at two public health clinics in Negeri Sembilan for data collection and that data responses analyzed using SPSS version 26.0. The findings showed that the role of knowledge significantly affected for the compliance with hand hygiene practice while a positive attitude does not significantly influencing hand hygiene practice. Finally, implications are discussed and recommendations for future researchers.
