description <p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami respons netizen di Malaysia terhadap golongan</p><p>mak nyah di ruang maya. Dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif melalui kaedah</p><p>netnografi, kajian ini mendapatkan data dari platform media sosial yang dimiliki oleh</p><p>empat orang mak nyah. Sejumlah 3086 komen netizen telah diperoleh daripada 38</p><p>paparan yang dikongsikan oleh mak nyah. Komen tersebut seterusnya dianalisis dengan</p><p>menggunakan perisian ATLAS.ti dan telah menghasilkan tiga tema utama. Pertama,</p><p>netizen mengiktiraf identiti gender mak nyah sama ada sebagai seorang lelaki, pondan</p><p>atau wanita. Kedua, tindakan diskriminasi netizen terhadap mak nyah adalah</p><p>merangkumi tingkah laku; memboikot mak nyah, hinaan mak nyah sebagai pelacur,</p><p>hinaan ciri fizikal mak nyah, hinaan perhubungan intim mak nyah, hinaan mak nyah</p><p>sebagai hamba duit, hinaan penjaga mak nyah, paksaan pembuktian identiti biologi,</p><p>sasaran keganasan lisan dan gangguan seksual terhadap mak nyah. Ketiga, langkah</p><p>untuk mengelakkan diskriminasi oleh netizen di Malaysia adalah merangkumi tindakan</p><p>saling menghormati antara satu sama lain, penerapan elemen Islam, memikirkan kesan</p><p>diskriminasi terhadap mak nyah, pemantapan pengetahuan tentang mak nyah dan</p><p>melaksanakan seruan untuk menghentikan gejala buli siber. Dapatan kajian ini</p><p>berupaya untuk menghasilkan panduan ke arah mewujudkan ruang maya yang selamat</p><p>kepada semua golongan dengan mengambil contoh golongan minoriti seksual seperti</p><p>mak nyah.</p>
