Seramai 457 responden daripada kolej-kolej vokasional di Malaysia dipilih dengan kaedah persampelan rawak mudah untuk menjawab soal selidik. Manakala seramai 8 responden pula dipilih dengan kaedah persampelan bertujuan untuk sesi temu bual dengan soalan separa berstruktur. Data telah dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kepimpinan distributif adalah sederhana tinggi dengan dimensi kerjasama pasukan adalah paling dominan. Tahap komitmen organisasi juga adalah sederhana tinggi dengan dimensi komitmen afektif adalah paling dominan. Tahap tekanan kerja adalah sederhana dengan dimensi masa dan sumber adalah paling dominan. Hubungan kepimpinan distributif dengan komitmen organisasi adalah signifikan dan berarah positif. Hubungan kepimpinan distributif dengan tekanan kerja adalah signifikan dan berarah negatif. Hasil analisis Regresi Berganda menunjukkan dimensi-dimensi kepimpinan distributif memberi sumbangan kepada komitmen organisasi dalam pendidikan teknik dan vokasional kecuali dimensi penyeliaan. Manakala dimensi-dimensi kepimpinan distributif juga memberi sumbangan kepada tekanan kerja dalam pendidikan teknik dan vokasional. Data kajian kualitatif dianalisis dengan kaedah analisis kandungan. Dapatan kajian dengan kaedah kualitatif juga menunjukkan bahawa kepimpinan distributif diamalkan dalam pendidikan teknik dan vokasional. Dapatan juga menunjukkan tenaga pengajar dalam pendidikan teknik dan vokasional komited dengan kerjaya mereka. Namun begitu, mereka berhadapan dengan tekanan kerja secara sederhana dalam organisasi mereka. Justeru, amalan kepimpinan distributif perlu diterapkan dengan berkesan agar komitmen organisasi dapat ditingkatkan dan tekanan kerja dikurangkan.
