Subjek adalah pelajar semester satu Sains Kejurulatihan, yangdiagihkan secara rawak kepada kumpulan MAC-P (n=21), PST (n=21) dan kawalan (n=21). AnalisisKovarians (ANCOVA) menunjukkan kesan intervensi yang signifikan ke atas prestasipasca V O2max [F(2,59)= 8.12, p<0.05], kuasa puncak [F(2,59)=19.18, p<0.05], puratakuasa [F(2,59)=3.60, p<0.05], kekuatan mental [F(2,59)=4.93, p<0.05], dan efikasikendiri fizikal [F(2,59)=38.39, p<0.05]. Namun intervensi tidak memberi kesan yang signifikan keatas prestasi pasca indeks kelesuan. Kumpulan MAC-P menunjukkan skor yang tinggi bagi V O2max(46.62±1.13), kuasa puncak (769.53±25.20), purata kuasa(466.22±10.85), dan efikasi kendiri fizikal (87.12±1.71) dalam ujian pasca. Manakala, kumpulan PST(25.68±0.853) memperoleh skor pasca kekuatan mental tertinggi berbanding kumpulan MAC-P(23.50±.846) dan kawalan (21.91±.0.842). AnalisisRegresi Pelbagai Stepwise menunjukkan tiga faktor mempengaruhi pasca V O2max secarasignifikan iaitu efikasi kendiri fizikal (β=0.50), konsentrasi (β=-.36), dan keupayaanmenangani tekanan (β=-.36). Faktor motivasi mempengaruhi kuasa puncak (β=-0.35), manakala faktorkebolehbalikan mempengaruhi purata kuasa (β=-0.27), dan indeks kelesuan (β=0.35) secara signifikan.Kesimpulannya, MAC-P memberi kesan terhadapprestasi V O2max, kuasa puncak dan purata kuasa, manakala PST memberi kesanterhadap prestasi kekuatan mental. Implikasi utama bagi kajian ini ialah pendekatan MAC-P berupayamenjadi alternatif ke arah peningkatan prestasi fizikal. Hasil kajian ini boleh dijadikan sebagairujukan untuk jurulatih meningkatkan prestasi aerobik dan anaerobik dalam kalangan atlet.
