Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdasarkan kaedahkajian kes. Seramai 16 orang responden yang terdiri daripada warga sekolah (8 orang),pegawai Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (4 orang), ahli kumpulan penggerak Penglibatan Ibu Bapadan Komuniti (2 orang) serta wakil komuniti (2 orang) terlibat dalam kajian ini. Temubual separa berstruktur dijalankan dengan menggunakan protokol temubual yang disediakan. Data temubual dianalisis dengan mengeluarkan tema-tema tertentu berdasarkan soalan kajianberpandukan prinsip analisis kualitatif bertema seperti yang digariskan oleh Miles dan Huberman.Hasil temubual menunjukkan kolaborasi yang dilaksanakan memberi kesan kepada transformasikepimpinan sekolah terutama dalam prosedur pengurusan dan membuat keputusan termasuk memupuk pembinaan hubungan berdasarkan kepercayaan dengan komuniti. Hubungan timbal-balik antarapihak sekolah dan komuniti dapat memperbaiki imej dan persepsi masyarakatterhadap kanak-kanak jalanan dari aspek kebersamaan serta pembentukan kualiti kehidupanyang lebih baik. Kesimpulannya, dapatan utama kajian mengesahkan penambahbaikan sekolahdalam pelbagai bidang dapat dicapai melalui hubungan kolaborasi. Implikasi kajian inimenunjukkan kolaborasi komuniti membolehkan para pendidik dan komuniti mempelajari antara satusama lain tentang kejayaan amalan, penyelesaian kepada cabaran dan bagaimana perkongsian mempengaruhikemenjadian pelajar.
