Instrumen soal selidik dibinamelalui proses Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) untuk mendapatkan pengelompokan item dankonstruk kajian, manakala Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) digunakan bagi mengujikesahan dan kebolehpercayaan konstruk. Seterusnya, model pembentukan literasi karbon dibina dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Dapatan kajian EFA danCFA berjaya menerbitkan empat konstruk literasi karbon iaitu pengetahuan jejak karbon,nilai celik karbon, sikap rendah karbon dan amalan rendah karbon. Selain itu, model literasikarbon yang terjana melalui proses CFA telah mencapai tahap kesepadanan yang baik denganmemenuhi syarat kesahan, kebolehpercayaan dan fit indices yang telah ditetapkan dengan nilaiCMIN= 4426.67, DF=306, CMIN/DF=3.389, p=0.0, GFI=0.747, CFI= 0.729, TLI=0.714 danRMSEA=0.072. Dapatan kajian ini juga membuktikan bahawa pengetahuan jejak karbon, nilaicelik karbon, sikap rendah karbon memberi pengaruh kepada amalan rendah karbon pelajar melaluiperhubungan antara konstruk dalam model SEM literasi karbon. Kesimpulannya, konstruk sertamodel literasi karbon yang terhasil telah memenuhi syarat yang ditetapkan dalam prosesEFA, CFA dan SEM. Implikasi kajian memperlihatkan bahawa model literasi karbon yang terjanadapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam membentuk generasi muda yang mengamalkan kehidupanrendah karbon melalui komponen pengetahuan,nilai, sikap dan amalan. |
