Pemboleh ubah penilaian kendiri danpengalaman diskriminasi pula merupakan pemboleh ubah moderator dalam hubungan antarakemahiran generik dan kebolehpasaran. Kajian eksplorasi ini berbentuk tinjauan untuk menentukankemahiran generik, penilaian kendiri, pengalaman diskriminasi dan kebolehpasaran graduan PLTVbermasalah pendengaran. Kajian ini juga menentukan perbezaan pemboleh ubah-pemboleh ubah iniberdasarkan persepsi majikan dan graduan. Kajian ini melibatkan 167 graduan PLTV bermasalahpendengaran yang telah tamat pengajian dari politeknik dan kolej komuniti sijil kemahiran khasantara tahun 2013 hingga 2017 di Malaysia serta 104 majikan yang merekrut mereka. Instrumen yangdigunakan dalam kajian ini merupakan set soal selidik yang diadaptasi daripada penyelidik lepas,lalu diuji kesahan melalui teknik Delphi ubahsuai. Kemudian instrumen diterjemahkan dalambentuk bahasa isyarat dan dimasukkan dalam google form. Kajian rintis juga dijalankan bagimemperoleh kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan kajian ini. Semua data yang diperoleh telah dianalisisdengan menggunakan perisian SPSS dan PLS-SEM. Hasil kajian mendapati hubungan positif antarakemahiran generik dan kebolehpasaran menjadi lebih kuat apabila penilaian kendiri tinggimanakala moderator pengalaman diskriminasi tidak mengubah kekuatan hubungan ini. Kajian ini memberiimplikasi kepada pembangunan satu model kemahiran generik kearah mempertingkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan PLTV bermasalah pendengaran.
