Kajian kes digunakan sebagai reka bentuk kajian. Peserta kajianterdiri 25 orang pemain yang mewakili Malaysia di kejohanan Asia Rugby Championship2018. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada satu set soal selidik Test of PerformanceStrategies 2 (TOPS2) dan protokol temu bual. Data kuantitatif telah dianalisis menggunakanstatistik deskriptif dan inferens seperti kekerapan, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai, danujian-t. Data kualitatif telah dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik.
