Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen yang melibatkanseramai 60 pelajar biologi matrikulasi yang dipilih berdasarkan rawak berkelompok dandibahagikan kepada dua kumpulan iaitu kumpulan eksperimen dan kumpulan kawalan. Kumpulan eksperimen diperkenalkan dengan pendekatan modul PBM Bio Genetic manakalakumpulan kawalan diajar menggunakan Pembelajaran Tradisional (PT). Instrumen yangdigunakan dalam kajian ini adalah satu set ujian pencapaian biologi terhadap topik GeneticInheritance dan satu set instrumen Malaysian Critical Thinking (MyCT). Data yang dikumpul telahdianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif bagi menentukan kesahan dan kebolehpercayaanmodul. Bagi menilai keberkesanan modul, ujian-t tidak bersandar dan ujian-t berpasangan digunakanbagi menguji kesemua hipotesis kajian. Kesahan modul mendapat peratus persetujuan pakar sebanyak87.16% manakala nilai kebolehpercayaan Cronbachs Alpha modul adalah 0.93. Hasil kajianmenunjukkan modul PBM Bio Genetic mempunyai kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan yang sangat baik.
